Scheduled flights to Inverness are also available from Birmingham, Manchester and Belfast.

Car Hire is available at Inverness Airport - travel time then to Sgurr Alasdair is about 2 hours.

Road

From Inverness travel north on the A9 to Tore Roundabout. Take the A835 (signposted Dingwall, Ullapool) as far as Garve. Just past Garve turn left on to the A832 (signposted, Gairloch, Kyle of Lochalsh) to Achnasheen. Turn left, again, on to the A890 (signposted, Kyle of Lochalsh, Lochcarron) that will take you to the A896 almost at Lochcarron.

Rail 

Scotrail provides a train service from Inverness to Strathcarron every day at 9 a.m.; 11.03 a.m.; 1.30 p.m.; and 17.52 p.m. The journey time is about 2 hours.

A local bus will take you the remaining 3 miles to Lochcarron.
